Finnish ecoLogical visions

The Origins of LinTu

Nice to meet you! I'm from Finland, the land of Moomins and Kalevala, and LinTu is my artistic alias for spreading ecoLogical visions. In Finnish, ‘lintu’ is the word for bird—and like many of us know, bird is the word.

LinTu is all about giving wings to imagination, natural creativity and environmental sensitivity ♡ I've always enjoyed visual arts, especially drawing, and essentially the flows of creativity have given me heaps of bliss and balance. LinTu was born out of my desire to share this gift with the world.

Nature is my greatest inspiration, thanks to a childhood spent playing in forests and swimming in lakes. In addition to the traditional Finnish animism, the philosophies of Zen and Tao resonate with me greatly. These perspectives provide ample material for whimsical designs, and I really hope my creations bring joy to others too!

Heartfelt Visual Art

Ultimately my biggest desire is to make visual heart connections that encourage empathy, peace and joy. At best, my visual art also enriches and enforces the diverse currents of current ecoLogical narratives and cultures.

Since I see natural and organic ways of life compelling in general, all my designs are made using generous human intelligence. No generative artificial intelligence is intentionally involved in the process of creating LinTu art.

Thank you for being Here,
